Who, what, where.

At studio.tiiger we value Life. Yes, life with a big L

Where we are

You’ll find us in a giant house from the 16th century, in a small village by the canal in Lot-et-Garonne, south of France, about halfway between Toulouse and Bordeaux. The house truly is an experience in itself.

Besides the high ceiling bedrooms, the private garden and the centuries of history seeping through the walls, we have our own very special yoga hall, which is truly something special. The village is a picturesque and quiet place, but the beautiful city of Agen is close by should you feel the need for a city break.

Who we are

Birgitte is a practicing gynecologist, and certified yoga teacher (who somehow managed to squeeze in some study in nutrition as well), so anything you could possibly want to know about the body, male and female, she’ll know. Her vibrant laughter can be heard reverberating around the house at various, and numerous times during the day. She’s the brains, heart and soul of studio.tiiger

Sindre is the more experienced yoga teacher, with thousands of hours, and more than 5 years as a full time yoga teacher at a studio. Besides teaching yoga, Sindre holds degrees in art, and philosopy and when you come to stay with us you might sneak a peak into his studio on the first floor.

What we do

We host yoga retreats, creative retreats, and our goal is to help the world by helping people be more at peace with themselves, their bodies, the natural world around us, learn to breath and move, and care for themselves, be playful, childish, to leave judgment and shame at the door and forget it when they leave us and go back to their lives.

We also play hosts to other teachers who have a retreat idea but no place to host it. So if that’s you, get in touch and we’ll discuss your project and see if we can’t make it happen.

Got questions?

Hit us up and we’ll get back to you quicker than a mosquito in the bedroom goes quiet when you turn on the lights.
